HOLY SHEPHERD II

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; … Psalms 23:2 NKJV

Verse 3 says "...He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake."

Unlike other shepherds that watch their flock from a distance, God is one with his flock. He is hands on in everything concerning us.

I Corinthians 6:17 says " he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him." Think of having the Spirit of God as your own spirit. That is how He leads us beside still waters, paths of peace and righteousness, through his Spirit in us.

Know that He is a Holy Shepherd, He shepherds us in a holy way. That is why we can never lack. He said "I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father..(John 10:14‭-‬15) There is an intimacy involved here, a oneness, same as is in the Holy trinity; three distinct personalities but one God.

Beloved, whenever we say the psalm 23 prayer, say it with the conscious mindset that it is the Spirit of our Heavenly Father in us, making, causing and producing those results from within us. Remember the words of the Lord "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. (John 14:10)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ABIDE IN HIM AS THE SHEEP IN HIS FLOCK IN JESUS NAME, AMEN!
