HOLY SHEPHERD IX

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; … Psalms 23:2 NKJV

Verse 6 says "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.

Notice it says goodness and mercy shall follow us, we don't have to follow them. How they follow us, we don't know. It is God's own way of fulfilling his covenant. Remember, we are just the branches, Christ is the true Vine that supplies us with his OWN GOODNESS AND MERCIES!

So let's not worry about how He does it. When Mary, the glorious Mother of our Lord Jesus asked the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you;(Luke 1:34‭-‬35)

Beloved, let us enjoy our green pastures, our Heavenly Father is a Holy Shepherd. It is not by our merit but by his mercy, in fulfillment of his covenant which endures forever. "I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down,” says the Lord God."(Ezekiel 34:15 ) So let's continue to lie down and don't get up!
