HOLY SHEPHERD VIII

He makes me to lie down in green pastures; … Psalms 23:2 NKJV

Verse 5 says " Thou hast anointed my head with oil; My cup runneth over."

The Good news is that He has anointed us and has a restraining order with his blood covenant "Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.”(Psalms 105:15) Does the enemy obey this rule? no, that is why he challenges us. However, those challenges are the opportunity for us to display God's virtues and praises.

Isaiah 10:27 says "It shall come to pass on that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil." This means that no power of the enemy will outwit us, because of the anointing.

The Bible says " I have found My servant David; With My holy oil I have anointed him, With whom My hand shall be established; Also My arm shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not outwit him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him. (Psalms 89:20‭-‬22)

This is why our cup runs over, overflows with blessings, peace, love and joy of God because of the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
