IS YOUR HEART TROUBLED?

In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name - Psalms 33:21 NIV

That our hearts are troubled sometimes, doesn't mean that we don't have faith in God. Even our Lord Jesus experienced such. In John 12:27, He said “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour."

In another place He said "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.” (Matthew 26:38 NIV) So, it is not uncommon for a child of God to have troubled hearts especially in these dark days.

What matters is what we do with our troubled hearts. If you read further in those two chapters above, He prayed, bringing His heart under subjection. So, prayer is a solution to troubled hearts. Also, It is good to have a library of uplifting words of God, especially stored up in our hearts.

Do not seek comfort from this world for they can only feed you what appeals to your flesh and not to the spirit. We are children of the Holy Spirit, so if the world cannot receive Him, they cannot receive us as well. Joy from social media is only temporary, why? Because Colossians 3 says we are raised to a new life with Jesus, with new hearts and minds.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BRING OUR TROUBLE HEARTS TO SUBJECTION WITH THE PRAYERS AND WORD OF GOD TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
