In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name - Psalms 33:21 NIV
Psalms 119:111 NKJV says "Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart." So how much of His testimonies do we store in our hearts?
The psalmist here was going through a troubled moment: "When I was in distress, I sought the Lord; at night I stretched out untiring hands, and I would not be comforted. I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint. You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak. I thought about the former days, the years of long ago; “Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favor again? Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time? Has God forgotten to be merciful? Has he in anger withheld his compassion?” (Psalms 77:2-5, 7-9 NIV)
We might have been through such moments in life. The Lord assured us that it will happen, but we should put trust in Him, remembering His testimonies. "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33 NKJV
In another He said "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
(John 14:27 NKJV)
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BRING OUR TROUBLE HEARTS TO SUBJECTION WITH PRAYERS AND WORD OF GOD TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
