KINGDOM GROWTH IS BY SURRENDER II

And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.

Mark 4:26-27 NKJV

Notice how our theme verse says, “and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.” We should not worry about how our lives in the kingdom of God grow, for they grow effortlessly like a seed.

Matthew 6:28 NLT says, “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing." Just as all that a Lilly needs to grow as a Lilly are already provided in it's seed by grace. In the same way, all we need to grow as children of God are already provided in Christ by grace.

All we need is to receive them by faith, letting go of our fears and worries, and surrender to God's power in us.God does not like children living in fears and worries, for we are no longer fearful slaves, rather He wants us to declare boldly all we want. “‘You are my son. Today I have become your Father. Only ask, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, the whole earth as your possession.” (Psalms 2:7-8 NLT )
