And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.

Mark 4:26-27 NKJV

James 1:21 NKJV says, “Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.” When Mary asked the angel, “How can this be, since I do not know a man?” The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you,...”(Luke 1:34-35 NKJV)

The word of God is Spirit and life, and we are born of the Word of God, and the Word is Spirit. John 3:8 NKJV says, “ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Therefore, to grow in the kingdom, we need to lay aside all worries and cares of this world and let the word bear root in us. That is why our theme verse says "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.”
