LEARN TO ISSUE ROYAL COMMANDS V

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt. Open your mouth, and I will feed you.

Beloved, we have to be mindful of how and what we speak because we are people under the authority of Jesus and we have all things including the devil and his demons under us. Remember the Roman centurion in ‭Matthew 8:9 NKJV‬, “For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” Proverbs 18:21 GNT‬ says, “What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words.”

Let us then be conscious of what we say and how we give commands. ‭James 3:3-5 MSG‬ also tells us that “A bit in the mouth of a horse controls the whole horse. A small rudder on a huge ship in the hands of a skilled captain sets a course in the face of the strongest winds. A word out of your mouth may seem of no account, but it can accomplish nearly anything—or destroy it!”‭ Ecclesiastes 8:4 KJV‬ says, “Where the word of a king is, there is power:”

The Holy Spirit lives in us , He carries out God's commands we speak, the same way He did in Christ while He was on earth. In John 14:10 NIV‬, the Lord said, ”...The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work”. Remember when Mary said to the angel, “I am a virgin. How, then, can this be?” The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will…” (‭Luke 1:34-35 GNT‬)
