OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN

LEARN TO PERSEVERE

Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Romans 5:3‭-‬5 NIV

We can see here that the life of a child of God is not without suffering, for it helps to build a personal relationship with God. How? It is difficult to persevere without knowledge of God and His saving power. We persevere in the hope that God saves us, for troubles can neither neutralize nor separate us from His love. That is why we are more than conquerors through Christ.

Romans 15:4 NKJV says "For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope."

Without suffering, we will not discover the patience and comfort of the Scriptures, great virtue, character that gives us hope.

No wonder Psalms 119:71 TPT says "the punishment you brought me through was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me your ways."

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO BUILD RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH PERSEVERANCE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
