LIVE FROM HEAVEN WHILE WALKING ON EARTH
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Psalm 139:14 NIV
Beloved, we are fearfully and wonderfully made indeed. In Christ, we have been given a new life, a new identity, and a new source from which to live. Jesus said to Philip: “Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak are not my own, but my Father who lives in me does his work through me.” (John 14:10 NLT)
Jesus did not live independently of the Father. He lived from the Father. He surrendered Himself completely so that the Father could express His life and works through Him. The same principle applies to us.On earth we no longer live, Christ lives in us, for we are crucified with Christ. (Galatians 2:20) We just live for Him on earth, He is our hope of glory! Both the will and to do comes from Him. His image and likeness is expressed through us! When the Father looks at us from above, He sees Jesus. This is remarkable!
How about us, where do we live? We live in Him in Heaven where He is seated on the throne. Colossians 3:3 NLT says, “For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. ” Ephesians 1:4 tells us that, although our feet are on earth, we are holy, blameless and irreproachable, because our life is hidden in Christ in God“ Because He lives we shall live” When the Father looks at Jesus in heaven, He sees us ! That is why we must learn to live from heaven while walking on earth.
Just as Jesus did not operate on earth according to what He saw around Him; He operated according to what He saw in the Father. He lived from the Father, in the Father and through the Father. “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself, but only what he sees the Father doing. ”(John 5:19) The same way, we can do nothing on earth, except what we see in Christ. We live from Christ, in Christ, and through Christ.
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE FROM HEAVEN WHILE WALKING ON EARTH IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
