Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

Philippians 2:12-13 ESV

It was recorded on several occasions in the Bible that Blessed Mary treasured the word of God and pondered it often. On one occasion the Bible says, “ And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.” (Luke 2:18-19 ESV)

Many are carried away with the excitement of the gospel and never spend time meditating on it. And when troubles come, they fall away. The Lord explained it in the parable of the sower as those seeds that fell on the rock. (See Mathew 13)

We are those that received life according to His words. OUR duty is to keep treasuring the word and pondering it as Mary did despite the excitements, until it creates a vision in our hearts and minds. Then we can stand firm in trials of this world. So, while others are living in worries about the conditions in the world today, our default tense should be as Mary said, “let it be done to me according to your word “

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE BY SPIRITUAL VISION AND NOT THE NATURAL VISION IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
