NO NEED TO WORRY

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?- Matthew 6:25 NIV

As much as this world is concerned, we are dead to it and alive to God in Christ. The dead don't worry about themselves because they are incapable of doing anything by themselves. No wonder the Lord said "Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?" (Matthew 6:27) But, we are alive to God in Christ , so our provision is from Him, for without Jesus, we can do nothing,

When the Israelites were in the wilderness, God took care of their needs because they cannot do anything on their own. They were dead to the world and alive to God's care. But when they murmured and doubted God’s power and care, they were punished.

When we worry, we are doubting God’s power to provide, care and love as the Israelites did in the wilderness, hence detaching ourselves from Him, claiming we are alive and capable of doing something on our own, making our power of excellence from us and not from God. That is why the Lord said "you cannot serve both God and money."

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO TRUST GOD IN ALL THNGS AND NOT WORRY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
