OUR MINISTRY AS KINGS, PRIESTS AND PROPHETS

By a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, And by a prophet he was preserved- Hosea 12:13 NKJV

When Elijah wanted God to take him away, God told him to first anoint kings to inflict vengeance and a prophet to replace him. ( See I Kings 19 NKJV)

This shows how merciful God is, He didn't abandon the Israelites without a prophet, and kings Elijah anointed. Through this, we know how important God places their ministry in the society.

Today, By baptism, we are anointed kings, prophets and priests to the Lord. As His anointed ones, we should have this mindset of Jesus: "When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. (Matthew 9:36 NLT)

It is the Father’s will that we continue this kingly, priestly and prophetic ministry till the coming of our Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit helps us carry out these ministry in our society. Psalms 18:50 tells us that He gives his king great victories and shows unfailing love to his anointed.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT, SO AS TO CARRY OUT OUR KINGLY, PRIESTLY, AND PROPHETIC MINISTRY, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
