OUR PRAYERS ARE UNHINDERED

Let my prayer be set before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.

Psalms 141:2 NKJV

The Bible tells us about the angel with a golden censer, who was given much incense to offer along with our prayers to God. So our prayers rise up to God from the hands of the angel. ( See Revelation 8:3-4) Why the incense?

In the Bible, the Isrealites provoked God to anger and He struck them with plaque. Moses told Aaron to get incense, go to the people and make atonement.

" So Aaron took the censer as Moses had ordered and ran into the midst of the assembly. And seeing that the plague had begun among the people, he offered the incense and made atonement for the people. He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague was halted.

(Numbers 16:47‭-‬48 BSB)

So our prayers comes before God as incense and produce tremendous results, for it speaks of atonement, mercy, forgiveness. The Bible says "And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance]. [Gen. 4:10.](Hebrews 12:24 AMPC)

Imagine that our prayer carries a "nobler and more gracious message". Glory! No wonder it prevails in all circumstances. Pray more with joy. Praise is a type of prayer, imagine when you combine it with lifting up of hands.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO OFFER HIM FERVENT PRAYERS WITH JOY IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
