Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Genesis 1:28 NKJV
In our verse, Parah, rabah, kabash and radah are Hebrew words for "to bear fruit, multiply, subdue, and dominate" respectively. These are four blessings God blessed us with when we were created. But we fell short of these blessings due to sin. However, in a covenant, these blessings were placed on Abraham because God made him righteous, and has reached us today, through Jesus. So the scripture says:
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.(Galatians 3:13-14 NKJV)
Through the Holy Spirit, we are manured, fertilized and cultivated in Christ to bear good fruit.(Luke 13:8) Christ is the true Vine, we are the branches of the true Vine. We have the same life as the true Vine, Holy Spirit and shall be fruitful, evergreen, producing fruits of righteousness unless we don't abide . In Isaiah 60:21, the Lord called us "the branch of His planting, the work of His hands, that He may be glorified."
MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH US ALWAYS
BLESSED ARE YOU GOD THE LOVING FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR THE GRACE TO BE FRUITFUL, TO YOU BE THE GLORY FOREVER, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
