PROPER SACRIFICES

Look with favor on Zion and help her; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit— with burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings. Then bulls will again be sacrificed on your altar.

Psalms 51:18‭-‬19 NLT

Psalms 80:18 CEV say "... Put new life into us, and we will worship you." We cannot give God the worship He seeks in the flesh, we have to be quickened by the Spirit. "Then you will be pleased with sacrifices offered in the right spirit" that is, sacrifices offered through the Holy Spirit to God. 

John 4:24 NLT says "For God is Spirit, so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.” That means we can only worship God through the power of the Spirit of Jesus in us and not the flesh.

How ?

Jesus is our Passover Lamb, the sacrificial Lamb, as far as we live in His name, We are living a life of sacrifice to God. The Bible  says "And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Colossians 3:17 NKJV

How? Yielding to His will, John 6:38 NKJV says "For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me." We deny ourselves of our own will, and do what He offered to God, himself when He was on Earth "In burnt offerings and sin offerings You took no delight. Then I said, ‘Here I am, it is written about Me in the scroll: I have come to do Your will, O God.’”

Therefore, are we offering sacrifices of 

prayers,praises and thanksgiving, anything we do, it has to be done through the Holy Spirit,  remember we are in spirit and  not in the flesh, Psalms 85:6 CEV says "Won't you give us fresh life and let your people be glad because of you?
