PROTECT YOUR JOY OF IMMANUEL

After the wise men were gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up! Flee to Egypt with the child and his mother,” the angel said. “Stay there until I tell you to return, because Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.” - Matthew 2:13 NLT

Christmas celebration is over, but there is a need to protect the joy that comes with Christmas. This joy is not from what we eat or drink, but it is in us, the joy that comes with Immanuel. The enemy might try to rob us of this joy for it is our strength in this life.

Always remember the sign of the Savior : "You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.” (Luke 2:12) I like how the Passion translates this: ".. You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in the feeding trough!” So He came down to feed us with His own life. He is the bread that has life.

That is why we are not moved by the world's circumstances, for we are renewed inwardly daily with the glory that is not dependent on the world's circumstances, rather as it was in the beginning, it is now and forever.

Beloved, it is not about what comes at us, rather what are we bringing out "A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart..(Matthew 12:35) OUR glory is inherent, and shines out. Don't even think your glory is not reflecting, remember the baby wrapped snugly with strips of clothes was called the Savior, not Savior to be.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO PROTECT OUR JOY IRRESPECTIVE OF OUR EARTHLY CIRCUMSTANCES IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
