John‬ ‭4:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ says, “We love Him because He first loved us.” His love, grace, goodness compels us and not the other way round. Adam and Eve were not bothered by their nakedness until after they tried to depend on works and not on grace, hence fell short of grace without which no one can bear fruit.
