1 Peter 2:25 NIV says, "For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” We should have the mindset that we are no longer vulnerable to distress as sheep without a shepherd, rather, we have fullness of life for we are back to our true Shepherd. Let us wait on Him in joyful hope as the night guards wait for the morning to show up. Romans 12:12 NLT says, “Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
