1 John 5:13 GNT says, “I am writing this to you so that you may know that you have eternal life—you that believe in the Son of God.” God wants that knowledge to grow deep in our hearts. For in the world we might face challenges as the world does, but we will not perish for we have eternal life. He wants that through our union with Christ, we should let go of our former ways, and walk in the newness of life.
