Give us this day our daily bread

Matthew 6:11 NKJV

OUR daily bread is not of this world, for we are not from this world. The world cannot afford our daily bread only our heavenly Father does, that is why Christ told us to ask Him for our daily bread.

The Lord prayed "They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

(John 17:16‭-‬17 NIV) He did not say feed, clothe or give them houses, for the Father knows we need those.

He said, "So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. (Matthew 6:31‭-‬32 NIV)

This is why we are not subject to the socio-economic system of this world, for our daily sustenance is not of this world, but of God. Pandemics, scarcity, etc has no power over our daily sustenance. Consider our record: the desert conditions could not affect Israelites daily sustenance, Isaac planted during famine and reaped hundred folds. Glory!

Beloved, let us seek our daily bread from God and wait on Him as our only true provider, for He is the only one that "gives us the power to live, to move, and to be who we are. “We are his children,” (Acts 17:28 CEV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ASK GOD DAILY FOR OUR DAILY BREAD,TO HIS OWN GLORY, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
