RECEIVE YOUR BREAD DAILY IV

Give us this day our daily bread

Matthew 6:11 NKJV

OUR daily bread is about our spiritual sustenance, what spiritually sustains us daily, for we are in the spirit and not in the flesh, and the spirit sustains the physical. Think of this: the world hates us because we are not of it, hence cannot give us our sustenance. It can only feed the flesh and not the spirit. What we need to survive in this world with all it's hatred and distress, is our daily bread, which only God can give. Do you think God can deny us our own daily bread?

Just as the Israelites couldn't provide their own daily bread in the wilderness because the wilderness could not give them their sustenance. God fed them manna daily, along with their atmosphere of clouds and fire. The same way, we cannot provide our daily bread, only God does. He related the need for food to the Holy Spirit, our daily sustenance.

“Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”(Luke 11:11‭-‬13 NIV)

Remember, we are born of the Holy Spirit and He sustains us in Christ. He has given us all we need for life and godliness, and they are a yes in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV )

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO ASK DAILY FOR OUR DAILY BREAD TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
