REJOICE IN HIS PROMISES XXXVIII

the Lord, whose promises I praise.

Psalm 56:10 GNT

The Lord said, " I will set over them one shepherd, my servant David. He will feed them and be a shepherd to them."

(Ezekiel 34:23 NLT) This is the caring mind of our heavenly Father. Imagine that the very one that ransomed us from death in love, is placed to care for us with the same love, an unfailing love!, "He will feed them and be a shepherd to them." Do you think we will ever lack, be sick or fail in life? No wonder David said, " The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not lack "

The Lord said on the cross, "it is finished". He did not say it will be continued. The case is closed, the very one who closed our case is taking care of us. Ecclesiastes 3:14 NLT says "And I know that whatever God does is final. Nothing can be added to it or taken from it. God’s purpose is that people should fear him."

At this point we rest with joy, then we can say as the Psalmist says , "I have calmed and quieted myself, like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk. Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me." (Psalms 131:2 NLT)

TO THE LORD, WHOSE PROMISES I PRAISE, ALL GLORY AND PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
