RISE ABOVE THE REACH OF TROUBLE

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.

Colossians — 1:13

Just as a bird on the ground is vulnerable to a dog's attack. But the moment it spread its wings and rose into the air, it entered a realm where the dog could no longer reach it. In the same way, we must remain conscious of our position in Christ, for we have been translated from the kingdom of darkness into God's Kingdom.

The Psalmist says, “from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” (Psalm 61:2 ESV) We are translated to God’s kingdom, a rock higher than us. And we are seated together with Christ, “ far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.” ( Ephesians 1:21 ESV)

When we live with this consciousness, we stop viewing life's challenges from the ground level of fear and limitation. Troubles may exist, but they do not have the final say. Our true position is above them, seated with Christ in heavenly places. The higher our consciousness of who we are in Him, the less power earthly circumstances have over our hearts.

WE RECEIVE THE GRACE NOT TO STAY ON THE GROUND AND WORRY, FOR GOD HAS GIVEN US THE WINGS TO SOAR, IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
