The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails—given by one shepherd.


Ecclesiastes 12:11 NIV








We are born of the Word of God, "For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God." (1 Peter 1:23 NIV)






Imagine how our life will be if we build our life on this imperishable foundation, the word of God. What in this life can kick against us? We are irresistible. We will be like the wise who built his house on a rock [See Matthew 7] St. Paul said "Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified" [Acts 20:32 NIV]





No wonder the Lord said "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." [John 15:7 NIV] Let us keep taking in the words, internalizing them, and experience this victorious and ever satisfying life in Christ!




WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SATURATE OUR SPIRIT WITH THE WORD OF GOD IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
