SET YOUR HEARTS ON JESUS

But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart - 1 Samuel 16:7 AMPC

Beloved, God is not rating us by our performance, merits, but by Christ's performance, " As He is so are we on earth" .WE are already the product of " It is finished". It is no longer about what we have outside, the outer man, but what we have inside, the inner man. Our life flows from inward to outward.

That is why the Bible says "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. (Proverbs 4:23 NIV)

Colossians 3:1 NIV says "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God." Why the heart? "With the heart man believes",

Our new life in Christ is supernatural, we believe with our heart, we see the glory and not the other way round. Right believing leads to right thinking and right living. No wonder the Lord told Martha, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” (John 11:40 NIV)
