SHINE OUR LIGHT WHILE IT IS STILL DAY

As long as it is day, we must do what the one who sent me wants me to do. When night comes, no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light for the world.”

John 9:4‭-‬5 CEV

Jesus said in our text "While I am in the world, I am the light for the world.” Is He still in the world? Yes by His Spirit through us, in us and with us as Christ. Christ is Jesus the head, we the body. That is why we are the light of the world. There are many lights in the world, but we ,the church, are the light of the world, we shine the light of Christ to the world.

"As long as it is day, we must do what the one who sent me wants me to do. When night comes, no one can work" Are we doing the work Jesus sent us to do? Are we shining our light? Are we staying at the mountain top where He placed us or are we hiding in the valley?

We freely received from him the fullness of life, that is fullness of love, patience, wisdom, counsel, kindness,power, authority, glory etc. We freely give out the same to the world. "Freely we received, freely we give out" For out of His fullness we have all received grace upon grace, spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor, gift upon gift, knowledge upon knowledge (John 1:16) Yes! Glory!

Remember, night is coming when no light can shine, "no one can work" When Christ body departs from this world, there will be darkness, the night when no one can work. Are you going to be trapped in the darkness or will you depart with the rest of His body? The choice is ours today!

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SHINE OUR LIGHT WHILE IT IS STILL DAY FOR NIGHT IS COMING WHEN NO ONE CAN WORK TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
