SPIRIT OF GRATITUDE

It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, Psalms 92:1‭-‬2 NIV

In life, there is time for everything, there are the good times and the trial times.

The nights are sometimes seen as the time of darkness, challenges, troubles, trials and tribulations. Our text is telling us to proclaim his faithfulness, during those times.

God is always faithful, Psalm 91:4 tells us that his faithfulness is our shield. In those times of darkness, He is our light and salvation. Psalm 18:28 says "You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light"

Remember Psalm 30:5 says "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." Also the Bible tells us "You are all the sons of light and the sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. (1 Thessalonians 5:5 MEV)

The mornings are sometimes seen as the good times, so we praise him proclaiming his steadfast love, we are assured of his steadfast love every morning. Psalms 5:12 says "O Lord; you surround them with your shield of love." His love is our pride, the beauty of our life, He died for us in love and gave birth to us in love. Psalms 63:3 tells us that his love is better than life.
