SPIRIT OF GRATITUDE II

Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me.

Psalms 103:2 NLT

Psalm 124:1 says "What if the Lord had not been on our side? Imagine what will happen if God ceases to be holy. That is if He rejects us forever, his kindness and unfailing love ceases forever? If his faithfulness permanently failed? Suppose He takes his grace away and slams the door on his compassion?

Think of what will happen if the sun takes a day off, or the air shuts off for 5 minutes, how about if the rain ceases forever? Suppose God takes away the boundary that prevents the ocean from deluging the earth, how will our life be? Suppose He takes Jesus away from us, and dissolves his blood covenant?

Beloved, Our heavenly Father is always working. We have reason to be thankful to God and serve him joyfully. Psalms 104:29‭-‬30 says "You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth."

Our heavenly Father is always working. We must also work. Our work is to abide in him, in Jesus, in all the good works God has done through believing, adoring and serving him joyfully with a grateful heart. It is all about his faithfulness, even when we are sinful and faithless, He remains faithful. Psalms 107:43 says "Those who are wise will take all this to heart; they will see in our history the faithful love of the Lord.

BLESSED ARE YOU GOD THE LOVING FATHER OF OUR BELOVED CHRIST FOR YOUR LOVE AND FAITHFULNESS IN OUR LIFE.
