STAY JOYFUL II

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! - Philippians 4:4 NIV

The Lord said to the Jewish authorities, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.”

(John 8:23‭, ‬29 NIV)

This is how we should talk to our circumstances that try to take our joy away. We should tell them; You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world, we are on the mountaintop, they are in the valley, we are sent by Jesus and He is with us and in us; he has not left us alone, for He said "surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”(Matthew 28:20 BSB)

Above all, because we are in Jesus, God is pleased with us. This should be our comfort in our challenges. Think of what it means that we are sent, that means He is responsible for us here on earth until we go back to him.The Lord said "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. In a little while the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you also will live. (John 14:18‭-‬19 BSB)

The world does not see him because they walk by sight, the same goes to us if we walk by our senses instead of by faith. No wonder St. Paul prayed "so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, (Ephesians 3:17 BSB)

BLESSED ARE YOU GOD THE FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR YOU HAVE MAGNIFIED YOUR CHILDREN ABOVE ALL OUR CIRCUMSTANCES, WE ARE JOYFUL, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER!
