SUBMIT TO HIS TESTIMONY

The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children - Romans 8:16 NIV

Always remember this, the Holy Spirit is the one that testifies who we are in any circumstances and not the flesh or the senses. His testimony might not be the one that suits our feelings at that point, but we should trust in His ever present help. How?

The Lord said this about the Holy Spirit,"He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you.

(John 16:14 NIV) Holy Spirit is the one that glorifies Jesus through us, and not our senses. God is full of attributes, virtues and excellences. Whatever the Spirit receives from Jesus He testifies to us. " Out of His fullness we have received.." It might not appeal to our senses, but trust and obey for it is the Spirit that testifies not the senses.

Holy Spirit does not only present to us wealth, material possession, etc as a testimony that we are children of God, He also displays in us obedience, love, faith, endurance, humility, joy as testimony that we are children of God. That is why the Bible says " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5‭-‬6 NIV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO SUBMIT TO THE TESTIMONY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOT THE FLESH TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
