THE CROSS IS A GAME CHANGER

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV
Days ago, our Catholic Church celebrated the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. As I reflected on the Cross, I was reminded of the wedding at Cana of Galilee, where Jesus transformed ordinary water into the sweetest wine. The Cross is the ultimate divine transformation.
There is a Eucharistic Preface used during the Mass that beautifully declares: “For you placed the salvation of the human race on the wood of the Cross, so that, where death arose, life might again spring forth and the evil one, who conquered on a tree, might likewise on a tree be conquered, through Christ our Lord.”
What a mystery! The tree that became the instrument of man's fall became the very instrument through which God brought salvation. At the Cross, Jesus took our place—He became sin for us—so that we could take His place : the place of righteousness.
He took our condemnation so we could receive His acceptance. He took our brokenness so we could walk in His wholeness. That is why the Cross is a game changer! The Cross also fulfills the prophetic promise of Hosea: “In the place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called ‘children of the living God.’”
(Hosea 1:10)
The Cross changed the story.
WE BLESS YOU HEAVENLY FATHER FOR THROUGH THE FINISHED WORK OF THE CROSS OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, YOU HAVE CHANGED OUR STORY FOR GOOD. WHAT WAS ONCE BROKEN, YOU HAVE MADE WHOLE. PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
