Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full -"John 16:24 MEV

The second reason why we can ask and receive is that we are alive to God. We are operating in the realm of life, so God can hear us for we are in the light as He is in the light. We are in agreement with Him. We are in the spirit and not in the flesh. (Romans 8:9) God is in the Spirit and not in the flesh. If we walk in the spirit, we are walking according to His will and are in fellowship with Him.

However, those in the flesh are considered dead to God, they can not please God, so He cannot hear them. Psalms 88:5 NIV says "I am set apart with the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom you remember no more, who are cut off from your care." Our confidence , our anchor to asking and receiving here is that we are alive to Him and His care, He remembers us, so He hears us.

That is why 1 john 5 :14-15 NKJV says "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WALK IN THE REALM OF LIFE SO AS TO ASK AND RECEIVE TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
