Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full -"John 16:24 MEV
The fourth reason why we can ask and receive is that God is faithful. His words are set in righteousness and in faithfulness.(Psalm 119:138) He is not answering us because we are faithful, but because of His faithfulness. Before the world began, His words are faithful, and endures forever. 2 Timothy 2:13 MEV says "If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself".
How many of us remind God to give us air daily? We still breathe in air today not by our goodness but by His faithfulness. He cannot turn faithless because of our evil, no! Beloved, anything we ask God in prayers, believing, is answered. (Mark 11:24) It is not about us but by His faithfulness. If we have not seen it does not mean He hasn't answered our prayer.
Remember the disciples at Emmaus, for the fact that they never believed He is risen, does not mean He is not risen. So also, for the fact we haven't seen our answer doesn't mean He has not answered us. How do we see it? We see by faith, which is the evidence of the unseen (Hebrews 11:1)
Beloved, we are chosen, called, built, set apart to ask and receive. (John 15:16) Let us trust Him who chose us and not the chosen, let us see with God kind of faith, faith that considers not the deadness of the body, gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did (Romans 4:17, 19 )
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO TRUST IN HIS FAITHFULNESS AND NOT OUR FAITHFULNESS SO AS TO ASK AND RECEIVE TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
