Until now you have asked nothing in My name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full -"John 16:24 MEV
Finally, waiting patiently on the Lord is vital in asking and receiving . Waiting means that we trust His faithfulness, that means we know that He answered us, so we are waiting to receive our request. This is very vital in receiving from the Lord. So we wait with joy and thanksgiving!
We go to restaurants, doctor"s appointment and wait but we don't know how to wait on the Lord. It is our duty to ask, and the Lord's duty to answer. However, most of the time we do both, because we ask and answer ourselves by concluding that God didn't answer. That means we are concluding that God is not righteous and faithful.
Beloved, God is displaying through us that He answers prayers. That is why we are consecrated to Him. No wonder Psalms 86:7 NKJV says "In the day of my trouble I will call upon You, For You will answer me." Psalms 17:6 NKJV says "I have called upon You, for You will hear me.
One good thing about waiting is that He carries us in eagle wings, because He knows we are truly waiting for him, He empowers and strengthens us. Isaiah 40:31 NKJV says "But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."
WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO WAIT ON THE LORD SO AS TO RECEIVE ALL THAT WE ASKED FOR, TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
