THE JOY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

I am on my way to you. But I say these things while I am still in the world, so my followers will have the same complete joy that I do John 17:13 CEV

Do you have the SAME JOY AS JESUS ? Jesus prayed for us to have the same complete joy as Him, and it was given to us. (Galatians 5:22) The question is have we received it? Do we know what it is? Is Jesus Christ joy from job, finances, marriage, health and other things of this world? Where is His joy from? His joy is of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, we are raised to a new life with Jesus, our joy is the same as Jesus joy, that is the joy of the Holy Spirit and not the joy of this world. The Bible tells us to focus on the things of heaven,that is where our joy is and not of this world. "for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.(Romans 14:17 NKJV)

Our Lord Jesus, when He was in the world, focused on the things of God; "While I am in the world I will do the work of Him who sent me" . When it was time for Him to go back to Him who sent Him, He said joyfully "I have brought glory to you here on earth by doing everything you gave me to do.(John 17:4 CEV)

The same way, our joy should not be based only on our job, money, marriage etc, but of things we enjoy in Christ, such as righteousness, peace, our throne of honor, His loving-kindness, the glory we share with Him on earth. All these should be the basis of our joy.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO DERIVE OUR JOY IN JESUS TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
