THE JOY OF THE LORD

..Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” - Nehemiah 8:10 NKJV

Do you know why the joy of the Lord is our strength? Because God created us as His joy, we are the joy of the Father "Isaiah 65:18 NKJV says "..For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy."

So, we are not our own joy, we are God's joy, God draws His joy from us, we draw our joy from Him.So our strength, success in all things in life comes from staying joyful, that is drawing our joy from the Lord and nowhere else. Anything outside that, we are living on our own, "In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name." (Psalms 33:21 NIV)

God created us for His pleasure, and not for our own pleasure, so our lives are forever pleasing to Him, for He created what He pleased. Ponder this, if Eternal Father, who does not change is our joy, and His joy is our strength, do you think we will ever fail? No, for with His joy we draw water from the wells of His salvation. (Isaiah 12:3)

Above all, we are the joy of the whole world, "Beautiful in elevation, The joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion on the sides of the north, The city of the great King. (Psalms 48:2 NKJV) We are from Zion, so we function as joy to one another and the whole world.

Beloved, Romans 14:8 says, "whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s" So we live as His joy, without joy we are of no use to God and the world “...but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.(Matthew 5:13 NKJV)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO REMAIN JOYFUL IN THE LORD ALL THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
