THE LOVE OF GOD III

“I am not looking for human praise. But I know what kind of people you are, and I know that you have no love for God in your hearts - John 5:41‭-‬42 GNT

We cannot be in communion with God without discovering the love God poured in our hearts through the Holy Spirit in us.

God's love is always shining, but why are we not experiencing it? If a bird taken out of the dungeon to experience the sunlight, flies back in the dungeon, it won't experience the sunlight, though the sun is still shining.

The same way, God is Spirit, we are spirits and live in the spirit, God's love is spiritual, we cannot experience it if we remain in the flesh, that is, if we are still ruled by the senses.That is why we are called to love God beyond human senses, unconditional, beyond what we see or feel, that is with all our hearts, soul and our strength.

How can we discover this love of God? Through communion, abide in His words.

Beloved, we are dead without the love of God, Psalms 63:3 tells us that His love is better than life, Psalms 36:5‭, ‬7 CEV says this "Your love is faithful, Lord, and even the clouds in the sky can depend on you. Your love is a treasure, and everyone finds shelter in the shadow of your wings."

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LOVE GOD DESPITE WHAT OUR EARTHLY CIRCUMSTANCES MIGHT BE TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
