THE NARROW DOOR I

“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

Luke 13:24 NIV

God's plan for us before the world began, and why He called us out of darkness, is to conform us into the image of Christ, our duty is to yield to this marvelous call. He has completed this plan for us in Jesus, He is now working us into it. Always remember He completes the end from the beginning (Is 46:10)

Psalms 33:11 EASY Version says "Whatever the Lord decides to do will always happen. His thoughts will not change from one century to the next." Are we going to deny self and love God beyond our understanding, so as to conform to his purpose for us? or do live for our own purposes?

The way He transforms us might not be pleasant, but let's learn to trust him beyond our understanding. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

Notice it says " are called according to his PURPOSE FOR THEM." So God has different purposes for each of us. His purpose for you, might be different from mine, it is between you and God. Why? "HIS PURPOSE FOR THEM"

Christ is like a place, in him we serve different purposes as determined by our heavenly Father. So, let's learn to endure and as the Lord said, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door".

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO DENY OURSELVES AND LOVE GOD BEYOND HUMAN SENSES SO AS TO ENTER THE NARROW DOOR IN JESUS NAME AMEN
