THE NARROW DOOR II

“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

Luke 13:24 NIV

Sometimes, we want the easy way out in every tribulation, a pain free trial, but God, our Maker, is telling us to strive to enter through the narrow door. Two things that will help us enter through the narrow door is the love of God and to deny self.

If we love God, we will obey him irrespective of how narrow the door seems. And if we deny ourselves, we will accept the narrow door with our heart, knowing that we don't live for ourselves, but for God's purposes for us.

That is why Romans 8:28 says "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them."

The Bible says "For none of us live for ourselves, and no one dies for himself. For if we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord; whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. (Romans 14:7‭-‬8 )

Therefore, let us lose those weights of worries, cares and anxieties and lust of this world, so as to fit into the narrow door, as the Lord said " many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. Why? Because they are overweight with worries, cares and anxieties and lust of this world

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO DENY OURSELVES AND LOVE GOD BEYOND HUMAN SENSES SO AS TO ENTER THE NARROW DOOR IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
