THE NEW ORDER

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, wailing or pain, [for] the old order has passed away.”

Revelation 21:4 NABRE

A farmer produced a nice choice of fruits, however it became contaminated causing several illnesses and deaths so he lost many customers. So he quickly destroyed the old fruits and made a new disease resistant fruit, which He needs to advertise for customers to see a great change and come back to him.

The Lord said "I glorified you on earth by accomplishing the work that you gave me to do. (John 17:4 NABRE) What does that mean? Through His death, the old order of things, that is, sin and it's distress is taken away, the new order is in place, goodness of God is revealed on earth, so whatever we suffered in the old order of things such as hardships, sickness, untimely death etc we have overcome by his death.

However, the world does not know this yet, Psalm 34:8 says "Taste and see that the Lord is good;" That is why we are the salts and light of the world, the new breeds, born of excellent Spirit. "Spirit gives birth to spirit" . We are the firstfruits in this new order, the sin and distress resistant breeds called to display these virtues of the new order to the world. WHAT A GREAT HONOR!

That is why today we are placed on mountain tops, among wolves, and our table set in the presence of our enemies. We don't fret when we go through diverse circumstances, for it is an opportunity to display that God provides, protects, loves, is faithful and merciful. This way we bring the world to God. For " how can they hear without someone preaching to them? (Romans 10:14‭)
