"Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need."
— Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)
God's mercy silences every accusation of the enemy. Through the finished work of Christ on the cross, Satan's legal claim against us has been canceled and his authority broken. 2 Corinthians 5:21 NIV
says, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” Hence, we are righteous by faith in Christ and not by our performance.
Because we are righteous by faith through this glorious work of mercy, we now have peace with God and have full access to His grace (Romans 5:1–2). That is why Romans 5:17 (ESV) says:
"For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ."
We are called to live in the daily consciousness of God's mercy. Through Christ's finished work, grace and righteousness have been freely given to us. Therefore, whenever we are in need, we can confidently approach God's throne, by being conscious of His mercy, and grace is supplied to meet every need.
WE BLESS YOU HEAVENLY FATHER FOR WE HAVE RECEIVED ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND WE REIGN IN LIFE THROUGH CHRIST, PRAISEWORTHY AND EXALTED IS YOUR NAME FOREVER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
THANK YOU JESUS!
