THE POWER OF REVELATION

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

Ephesians 1:17 NIV

During a childhood masquerade initiation, we had to dance before two masquerades. The tall, fierce-looking one didn’t flog us, but the smaller one beat us harshly, so we ran away. Later, our mother told us that our father was inside the tall masquerade. Knowing this, we returned confidently to continue the dance, surprising the elders with our sudden courage.

We gain victory through revelation knowledge, the understanding God reveals about Himself that goes beyond human reasoning and the natural senses. This deeper truth comes through fellowship with the Holy Spirit, who unveils God’s hidden insights to the Church. This is why the church cannot be overcome, for it is built on this divine revelation, as Jesus declared in Matthew 16:18 that the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

The church has been given a unique privilege to receive and understand deeper spiritual truths. As the Lord said in Matthew 13:11, that the mysteries of the Kingdom are revealed to believers. Because of this revelation, the church carries the responsibility of displaying God’s wisdom. Ephesians 3:10 NIV says, “His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,”

In this way, the church becomes the vessel through which divine insight and God’s eternal plan are revealed.

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO LIVE BY REVELATIONAL KNOWLEDGE IN JESUS NAME AMEN!

THANK YOU JESUS!
