TRUST IN HIS TESTIMONY

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth… John 16:13 NIV

2 Corinthians 5:16 NIV says this "So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer." Why? It is the Spirit that testifies true things about God and who we are, and not our senses or earthly circumstances.

Ponder this: The Bible says "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,(Philippians 2:5‭-‬6 NKJV)

Just as the Holy Spirit displayed in Jesus while He was on Earth, obedience as a witness that He is a child of God. He was insulted, He suffered poverty, though He was equal to God, lived His life in total obedience to God.

The same way, we are "gods children of the most High" " as He is, so are we in this world", God might call for situations that demands us to display obedience, joy, humility, perseverance, faith etc, in our lives, let us not lose heart, and ask "Why me Lord? Rather trust in His testimony.

Beloved, we are in a world of senses, a world that walks contrary to the will of God. It is difficult for us to obey things of God on our own, it is like swimming against the ocean current. That is why we need the Holy Spirit to teach us the true things of God. Even Jesus, though he was a son, learned obedience (Hebrews 5:8)

WE PRAY FOR THE GRACE TO TRUST IN THE TESTIMONY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AND NOT THE FLESH TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER IN JESUS NAME AMEN!
