UNCHANGEABLE COMFORTER II

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul.

Psalm 121:7 KJV

The Lord taught us to pray this way, "lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:" (Matthew 6:13 KJV) So that we can live in a constant mindset that in Him, despite the troubles we might face, we are preserved from evil now and our soul for eternity.

We have a new birth in Christ. As God's newborn babies on earth, we receive our Heavenly Father’s protective care, at the same time, He preserves our souls for life everlasting in heaven. The Bible says, "For “you were like sheep going astray,” but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls." (1 Peter 2:25 NIV)

OUR comfort in all these is that the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls, is our true owner, and He delights in us. It pleases Him to watch over us. The Bible says "The Lord your God wins victory after victory and is always with you. He celebrates and sings because of you, and he will refresh your life with his love.”

(Zephaniah 3:17 CEV)
