KNOW GOD V

that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him –Ephesians 1:17 NKJV

I remember growing up as a child, we were scared of the masquerade, but when my mother told us that our own father is the one in the masquerade, we were suddenly bold and enjoyed our festival. Why? Because we trust our father. Peter, though the wind was boisterous, still walked on water because He trusted Jesus.

Just as He walked on water irrespective of the boisterous wind , trusting Jesus, the Lord wants us to walk out our salvation, trusting Him, irrespective of our earthly circumstances. Remember " Be bold for I have overcome the world ". No wonder Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego said to king Nebuchadnezzar,

"If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods,...” (Daniel 3:17‭-‬18 NKJV)

OUR life on earth is a life of difference, we cannot define it by our transient light afflictions. It doesn't make a difference to rate our health by our feelings. Also, if we rate our wealth by how much we own, what difference will it make, after all the unbelievers do the same. Even the rich also cry. The Psalmist says " Even the strong and the wealthy grow weak and hungry, but those who passionately pursue the Lord will never lack any good thing." (Psalms 34:10 TPT)
