WAIT PATIENTLY FOR THE LORD II

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

Psalms 147:3 NKJV

Did you know that you cannot suffer brokenness? Why? "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NKJV)

He was punished for our sins, He carried away our brokenness and wounds and nailed them on the cross. It is all Paid for. Our duty is to stand strong in what He has done for us. That is why our theme verse says "He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

So, He doesn't just heal us, for we were healed at Calvary, He also restores all that is lost. "I Peter 5:10 NLT says

"In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation."

When He bandages, restores us, Haggai 2:9 says "The future glory will be greater than its past glory"

Wait patiently on the Lord
