WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE IV

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life - Romans 6:4 NKJV

John 1:5 says "And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. The greek word for "comprehend" here is " Katalambano" means " to lay hold of so as to make one's own". This means that the world and it's wisdom cannot understand or take in this light from above. This shows the magnitude of the Spirit we received.

There is a big gap between the flesh and the Spirit. They are in enmity with one another.

The Lord spoke about this in John 14:17

"the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you."

Carnal mind cannot walk in the newness of life, even though they were given the Holy Spirit.The Lord before his death could not tell his apostles all He wanted, because they were still carnally minded “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all truth..

Receiving this new life is one thing, but walking in it is another thing. We cannot walk in this new life without the renewal of our mind, having the right mindset. We have to think and walk in the spirit so as to live in this new life.
