WALK IN NEWNESS OF LIFE V

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life - Romans 6:4 NKJV

Psalm 34:8 says "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good" It is difficult to enjoy the new life in Christ without walking in it. That is why many do not know the need for the Holy Spirit, because they have not tasted what it is to walk in him 24 hourss a day, every second of their life, a sweet fellowship!

They are so used to the old life that they don't desire the need for the new. That was why the Lord said "And no one, having drunk old wine, immediately desires new; for he says, ‘The old is better.’ ”(Luke 5:39)

The event at the wedding in Cana in Galilee, explained this better. The master of the feast said “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!”(John 2:10)

Beloved, at God's chosen time, through our Lord Jesus, we have the good wine now, the Holy Spirit. "You have kept the good wine until now!” We cannot experience the sweetness of his fellowship until we walk in him. " taste and see that the Lord is good;"

How do we walk in him? Stay conscious of our new environment, Christ. Renew our mind with the Word and live the word. Keep open minds when the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, make changes and offer him praise with thanksgiving.
