WE ARE A PECULIAR PEOPLE IX

• GOD'S OWN PURCHASED SPECIAL PEOPLE

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God's] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. [Exod. 19:5, 6.] 1 Peter 2:9 AMPC

We are purchased by God, we don't tell God what to do with us, rather He has the right to do with us how He wills. No one buys a special jewel and abandons it, rather refines it to suit the purpose it is purchased for. Those troubles of our lives might be that God is purifying us for the specific purpose He called us for, so let's be patient and learn from him.This is what makes us peculiar people, God's own special possession.

Remember, if we are to be the vessel that displays his virtues and perfections, we have to be cleansed. The Bible says "Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from what is dishonorable, he will be a vessel for honorable use, set apart as holy, useful to the master of the house, ready for every good work. (2 Timothy 2:21 ESV)

Beloved, are we ready to empty ourselves of our self and purposes so that the Holy Spirit can fill us with himself and purposes, with God-kind virtues and perfections? love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; (Galatians 5:22‭-‬23 ) IMAGINE IF WE ARE FILLED WITH THESE, HOW BETTER WE WILL MAKE THIS WORLD GOD LOVES SO MUCH.

WE BLESS YOU GOD THE LOVING FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS FOR WE ARE YOUR SPECIAL POSSESSION IN CHRIST AND IT IS MARVELOUS IN OUR EYES!
